1st Build, Own
and Operate facility
Thursday Nov 15
2010
The Dockyard area has been a focal
point for ROCONSERVICES since November of 2009. Work began by
completing the mechanical installation for Bermuda's newest and
largest Membrane Bioreactor Wastewater Treatment Facility. More
information can be found in our Project Portfolio.
After successful completion of the
WasteWater Facility, ROCONSERVICES was awarded a Build Own Operate
Contract for a Seawater Reverse Osmosis Plant to provide potable
water to the Dockyard area. The Plant is capable of delivering
180,000 US gallons per day. The sole Client, West End Development
Company (WEDCo) supplies their customers from above ground
reservoirs. The water is supplied to the local shop owners,
residents, the Government reticulation system and the ever welcome
cruise ships.
We are happy to announce the new RO
Plant was put online on the 1st of April after a six week build.
The entire contract was executed in-house; contract negotiation
design (AutoCAD 3-dimensional modeling), procurement, scheduling,
project managing, construction, mechanical installation,
electrical, plumbing, controls and commissioning. An exciting
project that has rewarded the company with a new, unique plant. |
